Mrs. Heidi Fagan holds a BA in Liberal Arts/Directing from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in Theater Directing from Northern Illinois University. She has worked extensively as a teacher, director, designer, playwright and administrator in the arts for over 30 years. She most recently served for 12 years as the Fine Arts Teacher at New England Classical Academy in Claremont, NH where she created the fine arts program and taught art, and drama for grades 1-12, and literature in the middle school. Prior to teaching at NECA, she ran the Education Program at Northern Stage, in White River Jct., VT for many years, teaching numerous classes, intensives, workshops and residencies in schools in the Upper Valley, including St. Mary’s School in Claremont, NH, Crossroads Academy in Lyme, NH, and Lebanon High School in NH. She has also directed numerous drama club productions for Springfield, VT Middle School and High School, and The Grammar School in Putney, VT. She is the co-founder and board member of River Theater Co. in Charlestown, NH, where she has run youth theater programs, worked with homeschool groups and directed several shows, including on site productions at Fort No. 4. Mrs. Fagan has received advanced training from Shakespeare and Co. in Lenox, MA, inspiring her to teach, direct and design numerous outdoor Shakespeare productions. She and her husband, Brant have lived in Charlestown, NH for 28 years, and are members of All Saints Parish in Charlestown. They have two sons, one majoring in Fine Arts at the University of New England, and a younger who will attend Mt. Royal as a tenth grader.
