“Let us love, since that is what our hearts are made for.” - St. Thérèse of Lisieux

Reflections on Catholic Education

To love is to encounter Christ. At Mount Royal, it is our mission to foster opportunities for students to encounter Christ. We seek to affirm the identity of each student as a child of God, in the classroom, on the playing field, at clubs and activities, and through friendships. In a society where this truth is so often denied, our mission is ever more crucial. By creating an environment where truth is accessible, and virtue is nourished, students are free to encounter God, who is Love Incarnate. As Catholic educators, it is our obligation and privilege to inspire these young minds and hearts. Through prayer and the sacraments, we ask for the grace to live this vocation, which, like all vocations, is one of love. - Ms. McKenna
