Ongoing Social Studies Fair Capitalizes on Social Media

May 23, 2012

Don’t forget to stop by the St. Joseph gymnasium to see our Social Studies exhibit. Students across all grade levels have been working hard on their research projects. The Social Studies fair will conclude on May 24th.

As part of our school wide social studies fair, students in the high school utilized advances in social media to share the discoveries of their research. We invite you to view and follow the following pages, both of which touch upon controversial issues in American history.

One student thinks that the federal government really ought to reconsider subsidizing an institution whose founder shared similar views with Hitler.

Another student shares the shocking story of the first woman in American history to be sentenced to the death penalty.

There will be more links to student’s research posted in the near future…
