Mount Royal Academy is an independent Catholic school enrolling approximately 200 boys and girls in grades PreK – 12.

Coaches
The ideal candidate for any coaching position has the ability to see the potential in all student-athletes and to build a strong rapport with them. They should also have a commitment to high academic and athletic standards. The candidate should also be willing to work collegially with the Athletic Director and other school leadership to explore effective and creative methods of instruction, assessment, and student support.
Interested candidates for all positions must fully understand and embrace the mission of Mount Royal Academy and the role of athletics within that mission. Candidates should review the Job Description prior to submitting an application to gain an understanding of the mission and what is expected of coaches at Mount Royal. Boys and Girls Varsity Track and Field
Mount Royal Academy is seeking a boys and girls varsity track coach for the 2026 season. Applicants should be familiar with the mission of the school and the role of athletics in that mission. Applicants should also familiarize themselves with the job description.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of and background in track and field. Prior coaching experience is preferred.
Girls Junior Varsity Softball
Mount Royal Academy is seeking a girls junior varsity assistant coach for the 2026 season. Applicants should be familiar with the mission of the school and the role of athletics in that mission. Applicants should familiarize themselves with the job description.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of and background in softball. Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required.
Boys Varsity Baseball
Mount Royal Academy is seeking a boys varsity assistant coach for the 2026 season. Applicants should be familiar with the mission of the school and the role of athletics in that mission. Applicants should familiarize themselves with the job description.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of and background in baseball. Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required.
Math Teacher
Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a full or part time math teacher for grades 6-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants should be familiar with classical curriculum and pedagogical methods and have a passion for Catholic education. All full time teachers must be practicing Catholics and willing to profess an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, a strong background in the subject matter, and a solid understanding of algebra, geometry and advanced mathematics . The candidate must bring a commitment to high academic standards and an ability to build a strong rapport with students. Teaching experience is preferred.

Humanities Teacher
Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a full or part time humanities teacher for grades 6-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants should be familiar with classical curriculum and pedagogical methods and have a passion for Catholic education. Humanities classes include literature, history, theology, philosophy, and Latin. All full time teachers must be practicing Catholics and be willing to profess an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Candidates should have the desire to share their faith through example and teaching, and the ability to see the potential in all students. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are necessary. The candidate should also be willing to work collegially with faculty members and school leadership to explore effective and creative methods of instruction, assessment, and student support.

Resource Teacher
Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking full and part time resource teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The resource teacher will perform tasks related to the instruction and supervision of students, perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel, and other related duties.
A desire and ability to work with young children is essential in this position. Candidates should also have the desire to share their faith through example and teaching, and the ability to see the potential in all students.

Aftercare Coordinator
Mount Royal Academy is seeking a dependable, caring individual to operate our aftercare program for the 2026-2027 school year. The aftercare coordinator will provide a variety of age appropriate learning and play opportunities that align with the school’s mission and vision, including sport, game, craft, and learning activities. Above all, the aftercare coordinator will ensure the children’s physical, spiritual, and emotional safety.
