Sizzling Finale to Regular Season

Nov 4, 2010

The Knights finished the regular season on a high note, with a decisive 3-2 victory over visiting Jesse Remington at home. This game was action-packed, stacked with timely saves by a rookie keeper Matt Bocko, as well as some sensational offensive demonstrations put on by Pablo Marquez. The defense was sound and simple once again, led by the resurgence of Joe Wallace and Matt Begin, who protected the middle of our defensive area with intensity and determination. This was a key game primarily because it propels us into the playoffs with a great deal of positive momentum.

Thus, we finish the regular season with an overall record of 5-8-1, but 5-5 in league play. We placed 3rd in the league standings, which gives us the home field playoff matchup we were working towards. We will play host to RSEC Academy in the early part of next week, and if we win, we will then travel down to Jesse Remington with a ticket to the championship on the line.

Stay tuned for more information about how you can support the Knights. Thanks for following!
