MRA Students Serve as Inspiration for Art Teacher’s Paintings

Feb 1, 2013

Mount Royal Academy art teacher Margaret Dwyer will have an Art Opening at the Library Arts Center in Newport.  Some of her watercolors feature Mount Royal Academy students sledding and at other winter outdoor activities.

Mrs. Dwyer would be please to have any and all of the Mount Royal families attend the opening. It is open to the public, tonight from 5 – 7 pm at the Library Arts Center, which is located in the former carriage house of the Richards Free Library at 58 N. Main. St. in Newport.

There is no charge and refreshments are served.

Come and bring the children to see their art teacher’s exhibit.

The show will also be hanging during Winter Carnival (next week) an until March 8th, but this is an opportunity to enjoy the painting while Mrs. Dwyer is there.

We hope you can come. If you have never been to an art opening you will be pleasantly surprised how welcoming and comfortable it is, and what a nice facility the LAC is.
