The elementary school held its annual school spelling bee in the St. Joseph Center on Tuesday.  Classroom winners Willie Spanos (grade one), Lauren Dustin (grade two), Julia Stout (grade three), Luke Bartlett (grade four), Rosie Treece (grade five), Anthony Mihaly (grade six) and Alex Kalpagkian (grade eight) competed in the school level competition of the National Spelling Bee.  After several competitive rounds between Lauren and Luke, Luke won the bee on the word “hydra”.  Congratulations to Luke, who will participate in the state bee in Concord in March.  We are proud of all of the participants for their hard work and effort!
