Application Deadlines


Applications for 2025-2026 will start being accepted on October 15th. All students who apply for 2025-2026 before January 15th will be considered for early decision. Those who apply for early decision will be notified by February 15th, 2024. To be considered for early decision applicants must:

  • submit a completed application along with the academic records from the most recent two years
  • come for a tour of the school before January 15th
  • schedule a shadow day

Admission to the school is on a rolling basis and applications will continue to be considered after January 15th as long as space is available. In order to secure placement, parents are strongly encouraged to adhere to the early decision timeline. We accept applications throughout the year, even up to the last weeks of summer before a new school year begins. However, classes often fill up early and waiting lists for some grades are not uncommon.


Transfer Applicants 

Students wishing to transfer during the current school year are welcome to contact us to discuss the possibility. Every situation is worthy of consideration. We are always willing to partner with parents who are in search of the best educational option for their child.

Garden Applicants 

  • Applicants for the PreK program must have reached three years of age by June 1st of the year of entrance. Pre-K students must be fully capable of independent bathroom use before enrolling.
  • Applicants to Kindergarten must achieve five years of age by September 30th of the year of enrollment.

Elementary Applicants

Elementary applicants must be of grade-level age by September 30th of the academic year. For example, first grade students must be six years old by September 30th, second grade students must be seven, and so on.

To apply for enrollment at Mount Royal Academy, please submit the following:

  1. Application

    Fill out the application found here on our online portal.

  2. Academic Records

    Once the application is received, parents will be asked to supply two years of academic records along with any relevant individualized learning plans or evaluation reports. Depending on grade level and student background, report cards, standardized test results, teacher evaluations, and other relevant educational background information must be reviewed. At this stage of enrollment, only a copy of the records are needed. Upon acceptance, all official records must be transferred from the student’s previous school to MRA. Applicants can supply copies of report cards, progress reports, etc. until the formal transfer of records occurs. Click here for the transfer of records form. Digital copies can be emailed to mmcmenaman@mountroyalacademy.com or uploaded through the application portal. Hard copies can also be delivered directly to the school.

  3. Recommendation

    At least one recommendation (two is suggested) must be submitted from the student’s teacher, administrator, or pastor. Additional letters of recommendation are also welcome. Click here for the recommendation form.

  4. Application Fee

    A digital invoice will be sent to you for an application fee of $50. A digital invoice will be emailed after the application has been submitted. A credit card payment can be made online or a check can be mailed to the main office.


The submission of the application will not be finalized until MRA receives the online application, a copy of the academic records, 
recommendations (if required), and the application fee of $50.
